Phasmophobia Spirit Box Questions & Commands 2022

Updated Date :

A Spirit Box is a piece of equipment useful in determining the ghost type with evidence and also helpful in completing objectives from an Objective Board. To do this you need to ask some questions to ghost using the Spirit Box. But even long after the release of the game, many new and old players are not entirely sure how to use this equipment. So today we will look at how to use Phasmophobia Spirit Box questions & commands.

How to use Phasmophobia Spirit Box?

To use Spirit Box in Phasmophobia you must be either within 3 meters from the ghost, or you must be in the same room. That means if the distance between you & the ghost is more than 3 meters, then you have to make sure to be in the same room to use this equipment.

Also, the lights in the room should not be ‘turned on’ while using Spirit Box. Considering your proximity with the ghost, the Spirit Boxes must be used before the hunt beings. So you must always use this equipment as soon as you find the ghost room.

Some Ghosts will only answer your Spirit Box questions if you are alone in the room with the ghost. Other Ghosts will answer no matter the number of players in the room. You can check this specific condition on the Objective Board and this will also show on your journal. But this only shows in both ‘Amateur’ & ‘Intermediate’ difficulties.

Now once all conditions are met, you will see a microphone icon on the Spirit Box screen. If this doesn’t show up, then either you have not met one of the conditions above, or you need to change your voice chat settings.

Also, the Ghost will only answer to you 66% of the time. So there is a 34% chance you are not going to get an answer from the Ghost for your Spirit Box questions & commands.
