Persona 5 Strikers has introduced a host of changes with this new iteration. The game brings forward new mechanics as well as some new features mixed with a couple of the older traits. One such item that makes a return is the Gun mechanic from Persona 5. However, the gun mechanic also sees some changes along with the update in the overall combat experience. To use the Gun in Persona 5 Strikers press the L1 button on your PS controller to aim the gun. Click R1 to fire the gun. If you are using Switch you can click L to aim the gun on the target. Pressing R will fire the gun.

The guns themselves give minimal damage. However, it does allow you to put some distance between you and the enemies. It is a good idea to use them against weaker enemies as they are easier to shoot down. They are even handy to use against foes who are flying. We also found out that the guns vary from character to character. So if you have a preference you can switch characters to use different weapons.

If you do manage to kill any enemy instantly the game allows you to go into an All-Out Attack. This is useful when there are multiple enemies around you as these attacks give out larger damage as compared to the gun. This All-Out Attack Mode is also where you experience the game’s new slash-and-hack type of combat which is different from previous versions of the game.
