How to Enable and Play Crossplay in Outriders?
To enable crossplay multiplayer co-op with friends in Outriders, you need to first enable it from settings. Crossplay in Outriders is disabled by default. You can enable CROSSPLAY in Gameplay Options from the settings menu. It will be the last option in the Gameplay Options.
To play crossplay multiplayer co-op with friends in Outriders, you just have to bring up the game menu and select the Play with Friends option on the right side of the menu screen. All your friends on the same platform as your will show up in the next menu to add friends. It will also show who is online right at the moment so you may invite them too. From this menu, you can “Generate Your Game Code” for friends on different platforms and from here you can also enter their games with their codes for crossplay.
Crossplay is available for Windows, Stadia, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S & Xbox Series X. Other than inviting friends or joining them, you can also use crossplay in Matchmaking to meet new people and enjoy the game to its fullest. But keep in mind that the crossplay system is still in it is in beta phase and is expected to be fully integrated by the launch date.
