Slime Rancher 2: How To Reach Other Islands (Ember Valley & Starlight Strand)

Updated Date :

A first-person life simulation, Slime Rancher 2 is a direct sequel to its predecessor Slime Rancher. The game is filled with adventure as you explore the new location known as Rainbow Island. As Beatrix LeBeau, the main protagonist in the first installation of this series, you will have to collect, raise, feed, and breed slimes. While Rainbow island has a lot of slimes and adventures on its own, there is always room for adventures on other islands. Players who have played the early access for quite a while are now wondering how they can get to the other islands in the game. In this guide, we will show you how to get to the other islands in Slime Rancher 2.

How to Reach The Other Islands in Slime Rancher 2

Slime Rancher 2 Reach Other Island Ember Valley

While Rainbow Island is lovely, you will feel the need to explore the other islands too. With the hope of finding new types of slimes and other resources you will have to unlock the islands. To do that, you will have to complete certain tasks to reach the Other Islands in Slime Rancher 2.

  • To unlock the Ember Valley island, you will have to first defeat the Pink Gordos. You can do this by feeding them 30 pieces of fruits, meat, or vegetables. Once you do that, you will have to reach the portal to teleport to the other island.
  • To unlock the Starlight Strand, you will have to defeat the Cotton Gordo slimes. In order to get this done, you will have to feed them 30 pieces of vegetables. Upon doing this, you will be able to access the Starlight Strand.

How to Unlock New Areas in Rainbow Island

While you can unlock the Other Islands in Slime Rancher 2, there are a few important areas that are earlier hidden and you need to unlock them in Rainbow Island itself. For instance, you can unlock the cave depths near the Conservatory when you eliminate the Phosphor Gordo. Since you are planning to eliminate it, you can do that by feeding it 30 fruits.

Along with that, there are a few more areas in the Conservatory that you can expand upon purchasing. To purchase the expansion, you will have to spend 1800 Newbucks and there are four expansions that you can plan.

That’s all you need from this guide on how to get to Ember Valley, the other island in Slime Rancher 2. While you are here, make sure to check out how to plant crops and other guides we have at Gamer Tweak.
