Once Human: How to Get Sanity Gummies

Published Date :

Sanity Gummies are a crucial item in Once Human and, as the name suggests, you will need them to manage your Sanity. It’s a stat that directly impacts your max health (HP) which makes survival more challenging. If sanity drops below a certain threshold, you will start getting Whims which are status effects that provide some buffs and debuffs. For example, you might see a boost in your swim speed by 30% but also increase your hydration depletion rate by 30%.

Since you will consistently need these gummies in your journey, here’s how you can stock up on them.

When should you eat Sanity Gummies?

A Sanity Gummy replenishes 500 sanity points when consumed. These items are particularly useful during exploration of Pollution Zones or after encounters with hostile creatures, where levels tend to drop rapidly. Eating spoiled food, raw meat or drinking dirty water can also reduce it, and popping a gummy will help you combat the effects. Once you clear the fluid and metallic part of your health bar that’s affected, you can replenish your health and make it full.

How to Get Sanity Gummies

You can easily craft Sanity Gummies via your Stove.

  • First, unlock the recipe for Sanity Gummies by unlocking Electric Stoves from the Logistics tab in the Memetics Menu.
  • Then, craft a Gummy using a Stove (with 3x Logs) or Electric Stove.

  • Sugar is obtained by processing 2x Beets. Find beets, harvest them then, use a Stove to convert them into Sugar.
  • Keep a stock of all the necessary resources like water, sugar, and logs to ensure a steady supply of this valuable resource.

While Sanity Gummies provide an immediate boost, there are other ways to restore Sanity like sleeping in a bed and eating consumables like Fruit Tea.

That was how you can obtain Sanity Gummies in Once Human, effectively helping you get a quick boost whenever you’re hit by low Sanity.
