How to Get S Class Freighter in No Man’s Sky

No mans Sky Purchase S Class Freighter

S Class Freighter is incredibly rare to find in No Man’s Sky. You will have to spend quite some time in the game to come across one. Additionally, even the smallest S-class freighters cost about 5-10 million units. The big ones will cost anywhere north of 100 million units. We recommend you prepare at least 150 million units to avoid a shortage. Follow these step-to-step processes once you are ready to go:

  • Install an Economy Scanner on your ship once you are ready to hunt the freighter.
  • You will need a system that has a race and is wealthy to improve your chances.
  • Once you find one, go to the system and head for the Space Station.
  • Get out of your ship and then re-enter to create an auto-save point which you can reload.
  • Go to the Freighter after you clear the pirates in the area. Avoid firing at the freighter.
  • Once a blue light appears on the deck of the freighter, you can enter and scan to see if it’s an s-class.
  • If it is not, you can just head back to the space station using the Reload Autosave in the Options Menu.

Freighters are an RNG object so the game keeps changing the class every time. So you will get lucky one time while repeating this process.
