Nier Replicant has vast areas for players to discover. From multiple villages to a seafront and a desert, there’s a lot to explore for players. Traveling in Nier Replicant can be a task as there aren’t many fast-traveling options apart from riding the boar. To use this Mount, you’ll need the Boar tusk which you will get once you complete the Boar Hunt quest. After completing the quest you’ll be able to ride any boar so let’s see how to ride a boar in Nier Replicant.
How To Ride A Boar In Nier Replicant?
Once you have completed the Quest go back to the Northern plains and you’ll find a Boar. When you get closer to the Boar you will be able to mount it using the “B” button, if you are a PlayStation player you can mount it using the “X” button. Once you are on it you can steer it using the Left analog stick. Remember you can’t ride the Boar in reverse so when you pull the stick back it acts as brakes and not reverse. You can use the “RT” button to increase the speed of the Boar and if you are a PlayStation player then use the “R2” button. To drift the Boar press the “LT” button and move the analog stick to any side right or left, PlayStation players will need to press the “L2” button. Press the same button you used to mount to get off the Boar.
Although you can still be attacked while riding a boar, dashing into the Shades will give you a head-start in the fight. Boars are very useful while commuting as to reach most of the villages you need to cross the Northern plains. The fun part is instead of getting off the boar you can simply crash into a boulder and it will be a funny sight to watch.
