The secret Brick rod has good stats that are ideal for catching big and rare fish and one of the requirements to obtain it is that it should be Summer in Fisch. If it’s not Summer, a crucial NPC Minish will not show up at Harvesters Spike, even if the other time and weather conditions are fulfilled. So, here’s everything you need to know about the Seasons clock in-game.
When is the next Summer Season in Fisch?
While you can activate specific weather conditions and change the time of day using totems, there is no totem that lets you change the season. Also, server hopping doesn’t work for this purpose, because seasons are the same across all servers. Every season lasts for 9.6 real-world hours, or 576 minutes.
You can refer to online countdowns to know when the current season ends and when the other seasons will begin. For instance, at the time of writing this article, it’s Autumn, and it ends in approximately 8 hours. The next season is Winter, then it will be Spring after which you will have the Summer season in Fisch. So, it goes like Autumn > Winter > Spring > Summer > Autumn again.
For the Brick rod, you also need to have specific titles so that you can equip them based on the time you’re playing the game. This is part of the rod’s quest and all details are explained in our guide on how to get the Brick rod.
If not for this rod, you may want to keep track of seasons because if a fish has a preferred season, its spawn rate increases by 25% which is boosted even more if you have the Seasons rod. IT can go up to a total boost of 50% making your hunt even more specific. If the fish isn’t in its preferred season or doesn’t have a preferred season, the spawn rate goes to 15%.
