Could the official announcement of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit be imminent? At least this was suggested in a current age rating from South Korea.
At the beginning of the year, Electronic Arts announced that the Need for Speed series will be produced again at Criterion Games with immediate effect. Early gameplay footage was also leaked. The first project based on the series, which is being developed at Criterion Games, will appear to be the Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered version.
This has been indicated by a corresponding product entry from the shipping giant Amazon in recent months. As emerged from this, the new edition should appear on November 13, 2020, for systems not specified in more detail.
Even if Electronic Arts and the developers of Criterion Games remain silent about the rumors, the official unveiling of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered could take place in the coming weeks.
For example, the new edition of the racing game, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, in South Korea, recently received an age rating, which should indicate that the announcement and the release are not too far off.
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit was published in 2010 for the PlayStation 3, the PC, and the Xbox 360 and scored points with its action-heavy gameplay at the time. The playful innovations included different weapons that both the speeders and the police officers had at their disposal.
These included the electromagnetic pulse that slowed down enemy vehicles, or nail bands with which the opponents’ tires could be destroyed.
