The best thing is that getting into multiplayer is simple to get into, all you have to do is head over to the main screen and find the ‘Multiplayer’ option.

  1. Once you do find it though, you can either “Join a game” that your friend has been playing or invite friends by choosing the option “Host a game”.
  2. If you select to join your friends’ game, you will be instantly taken to where they are in the game and you can join in the adventure to save Bikini Bottom.
  3. If you host a game, your friends can quickly bring them over, and together you can take on any boss that you may be struggling against.
  4. You do get to face a giant Robot Squidward and you must face waves of enemies and defeat this monstrosity in front of you.

In multiplayer mode, you get the option to select any character between SpongeBob, Sandy, Patrick, Robot Plankton, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs. Like in most games, having a friend along to join in the fun really brings another perspective to the game and you will most likely spend hours playing multiplayer.
