How To Travel When Overweight In Palworld

Published Date :

Palworld players are finding it tough to travel if they have picked up too many items. Since each item has different weights, carrying many in your backpack can cause your character to slow down and traveling is difficult. So how do you travel back to your base while you are overweight in Palworld? Luckily, there is an easy way to do so without dropping any items.

Players need numerous items and resources to build and upgrade things in their base. For this, hoarding is a common thing and it can often lead to the characters becoming so overweight that they cannot move properly. Or, if players decide to dismantle their base and shift to a new one, they will have to carry numerous resources from the old base to the new base. Whilst that is the case, you will likely be overweight and need to move with all the items you are carrying.

If you want to move while you are overweight in Palworld, you will need a Grappling Gun. While movement is restricted when you are carrying too much weight, you can swing with the Grappling Gun to one of the fast travel points near you. You can easily make your way back to the base this way. Once you are near your base, look for a chest and offload some of the items so you can move properly again.

There are different types of Grappling Guns that players can unlock in the game. Each has a better range and reduces the time taken to travel from one place to another.

If you directly use the Grappling Gun to the Fast Travel point and use it, you are likely to meet with this bug. This happens while you are in mid-air and directly fast-travel. The best way to go is to use the Roll button right before landing to cancel the grapple. Once you fast travel after this, it won’t cause you any problems and you will have bypassed the bug.
