In an exhilarating finale, Mouz became the first winner of the Street Fighter League Pro-Europe 2022. The match against BMS was the culmination of weeks of intense rivalry between the continent’s best Street Fighter V Champion Edition players.
Following the success of the US and Japanese leagues, which have been running since 2018 and 2020 respectively, publisher Capcom launched its Street Fighter League Pro in Europe in October 2022. The championship, which pitted 24 of the region’s best players against each other in a four-person team tournament, ended with Mouz taking the victory and becoming the first-ever European champions.
Mouz has now earned a spot to compete against the best SFL US and SFL Japan teams in the Street Fighter League World Championship 2022, taking place on Feb. 17-18 at the ninth annual Capcom Cup in Los Angeles. A total cash prize of $150,000 will be divided between the winners and finalists of the competition.
“The level of competition in SFL was extremely high,” Said Mouz Captain Problem X. “I could not be happier with the performance of my team. Iām very pleased to have won the first SFL in Europe whilst representing Mousesports!”
