Curious to know who is the most nominated publisher in The Game Awards 2023? TGA is a highly valued platform where the best games of the year across categories are celebrated. And in a way, this year was a dream come true for gamers with masterpieces being released one after the other.
2023 has been extremely competitive because of lots of top-tier releases, right from TOTK, Alan Wake 2 to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, BG3, and many more. Unfortunately, MK1, Starfield, and Hogwarts Legacy were snubbed from the GOTY nominations, but one publisher has achieved multiple noms in multiple categories. Check out the full list of The Game Awards 2023 nominees below.
Publisher with Most Nominations in The Game Awards 2023
The publisher with the most nominations in The Game Awards 2023 is none other than Nintendo!
In TGA 2023, Nintendo has 15 Nominations for themselves in the following categories.
- Game of the Year (2)
- Best Game Direction (2)
- Best Adaptation (1)
- Best Art Direction (2)
- Best Score and Music (1)
- Best Action/Adventure Game (1)
- Best Family Game (2)

This includes the nominations for Pikmin 4, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, and Fire Emblem Engage as well.
With two hugely popular titles like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Super Mario Bros. Wonder, the publisher has worked their magic for Nintendo Switch audiences. The fact that both games are so vastly different, yet manage to live up to expectations almost perfectly, says a lot about Nintendo’s creativity.
The other publishers aren’t far behind. Sony Interactive Entertainment or PlayStation closely followed with 13 nominations. Xbox, if you also include Bethesda and Blizzard, came next with 10 nominations. Epic Games is next with 9 noms.
