It is under the Story section of the game and the game requires an internet connection to work. Developer had extended the Krypt in new Mortal Kombat 11, you will see puzzles, traps, unlockables, Easter Eggs, exclusive gears, and skins. Players can also trade items for rewards in the section.

The Krypt will let players to unlock different types of cosmetics items, and to authenticate the purchase you will need an active internet connection. A lot of things will not work in offline mode.
