It is under the Story section of the game and the game requires an internet connection to work. Developer had extended the Krypt in new Mortal Kombat 11, you will see puzzles, traps, unlockables, Easter Eggs, exclusive gears, and skins. Players can also trade items for rewards in the section.
The Krypt will let players to unlock different types of cosmetics items, and to authenticate the purchase you will need an active internet connection. A lot of things will not work in offline mode. In almost every edition of Mortal Kombat, we had seen different types of modes to get unlockables. This time players will visit Shang Tsung’s Island. Developers had tried to make it more like a real place instead of giving it a customized look.
Bigger part of Mortal Kombat 11 is based on the single-player loop where players will visit the Tower of Time and earn Koins and currency. They can then visit the Krypt and pay to unlock chests. They can return back to the Tower of Time to make some money and return back to find what more they can get from the Krypt.
