Mortal Kombat 11 was a great installment in the series and the action with a great narrative appealed to a lot of players worldwide making Mortal Kombat 11 one of the most successful games of 2019. A new update suggests that the game’s narrative isn’t over yet.
While the original game ended with Lui Kang becoming a God and controls the sands of time, after defeating Kronika. The new update shows a silhouette of Shang Tsung coming towards Lord Raiden and God Lui Kang.

This was posted by the official Mortal Kombat account on their Twitter page. All of the 6 DLC characters have been released and it looks like Nether Realm studios are now gearing up to take things to the next level with additional story content.
The reveal is scheduled for 6th of May 2020 at 6 pm Pacific Time and it looks like Shang Tsung returns to stop Lui Kang from committing a huge mistake which both Raiden and Lui Kang have failed to see.
