As confirmed by the MHR dev team, the expected size of the update is 10 GB. So, all players are recommended to have enough free space. While the Monster Hunter Rise is available on Xbox Game Pass, players would need to buy the Sunbreak expansion.
How much will Sunbreak DLC cost?
The Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak expansion will cost $39.99 for all Xbox and PlayStation consoles. This pricing is the same as the game’s PC and Nintendo Switch counterparts. You can preorder the Subreak expansion by heading to the PlayStation and Microsoft Stores. But note that you must also own MH: Rise to access and play the Sunbreak expansion.
Is MHR: Sunbreak Worth It?
The answer to that question is Yes. The MHR: Sunbreak expansion will feature new locations, areas, and regions just like the experience offered on PC and Switch. The expansion will also feature several new Monsters, Locales, Quests, Endemic Life, and a fresh storyline. Albeit, the increased difficulties you will be facing, it will be fun. While it depends on you, it should take around 30 hours to complete the Sunbreak expansion.
