Want to know about all the Wishes that a Monkey Paw can grant in Phasmophobia? If yes, then you have just arrived at the right place. For those who don’t know, Monkey Paw is a Cursed Possession item that was added in the latest update. A player can use this item to make a Wish by giving some commands. However, each Wish you make has its own negative effects that can not be avoided. Hence, before making a Wish, you must know everything about it in and out. That being said, here is all the Monkey Paw Wishes that you can make along with their corresponding effects.

All Monkey Paw Wishes in Phasmophobia

There are a total of 9 wishes separated into the 3 categories which are Ghost, Player, and Other. Here are all the Monkey Paw Wishes in Phasmophobia.

Ghost Wishes

  • I Wish to see the Ghost
    • Effects – A Ghost event occurs near the player. All exit doors are locked and the Ghost will launch a Hunt. In the meanwhile, the player will lose 50% of visibility due to a black fog.
  • I Wish for an activity
    • Effects – All Ghost activities near you are doubled. The fuse box will be broken and the exit door will be locked for 2 minutes.
  • I Wish to trap the ghost
    • Effects – The ghost is trapped & immobilized in its favorite room for 1 minute. Also, the doors of the player’s room will be locked as well. Once the ghost is free to move, it will initiate a hunt.

Player Wishes

  • I Wish to be sane
    • Effects – The Ghost is sent to another room. However, the Sanity of all the players is 50% along with an increased Sanity Drain by 1.5%.
  • I Wish to be safe
    • Effects – The closest hiding spot gets unlocked. Although, the ghost will be able to hear the voice of the player who made the wish for the rest of the contract. Moreover, the ghost could also sense any electronic equipment used by the player.
  • I Wish to leave
    • Effects – All the exit doors are unlocked even when a ghost is on the hunt. During this period, the player will have reduced vision and movement speed for 5 seconds.

Other Wishes – Safest Monkey Paw Wishes in Phasmophobia

  • I Wish to revive my friend
    • Effects – A dead player will be brought back to life after making this wish. However, the one who makes this Wish has a 50% chance to die.
  • I Wish for Knowledge
    • Effects – The incorrect evidence and respective ghost type will be removed from the Journal. After making the wish, the ghost will start hunting. Meanwhile, the player will have reduced vision and hearing power.
  • I Wish for Weather (Sun, Rain, Clear Sky, Fog, Snow)
    • Effects – The weather will be changed as the player wanted. In addition, the player will lose 25% of his/her Sanity.
  • I Wish for anything
    • Effect – You are granted any of the above-mentioned Wishes randomly.

Note – Please keep in mind that you can make a particular Wish only once.

Further, you receive a number of wishes based on the difficulty reward multiplier. For example, if you have a reward multiplier between 0x – 1.99x, you can make 5 Wishes using the Monkey Paw in Phasmophobia. Whereas, if you have a difficulty reward multiplier anywhere between 2x – 2.99x, you will be granted 4 wishes. Likewise, 3 wishes are granted if you have a difficulty reward multiplier of 3x or above.

For your reference, here are the Difficulty levels along with their respective Reward Multipliers:

  • Amateur – 0x
  • Intermediate – 2x
  • Professional – 3x
  • Nightmare – 4x

Keep in mind that you can not make a Monkey Paw Wish while playing Phasmophobia at Insanity Difficulty Level.
