Call of Duty 2023, which will almost certainly be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, will be revealed within a COD: Warzone Season 5, as confirmed by Activision. What should be the direct sequel to Modern Warfare 2, seems to be the next video game in the shooter saga. Check out the complete details below.
Modern Warfare 3 Will Be Revealed in Warzone Event
Activision had already confirmed the existence of the Modern Warfare 3 title, in a certain sense, with some indirect activities related to Call of Duty some time ago.
A few days ago the artwork of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 had even appeared in a sensational leak related to the Monster drink. And now we are about to proceed to the definitive act of the process that will lead us to discover the future of Call of Duty because Activision has made an appointment.
According to the official blog post dedicated to the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Season 5, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 will be revealed during a Warzone event. In a note on the official website, Activision talked about when we will be able to see the next episode of the series in action:
“Drop into Call of Duty: Warzone to experience the worldwide reveal for Call of Duty 2023 in a limited-time event, the blog mentions. “Join the ranks of Shadow Company to take on Konni forces and secure the chemical weapon threat before it’s too late. Stay tuned to Call of Duty channels for more details about the upcoming reveal.”
While Activision is still calling it Call of Duty 2023, it’s evident from the clues above that it is indeed Modern Warfare 3.
The original Modern Warfare 3 launched in November 2011 on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, and closed out the recently rebooted Infinity Ward trilogy with the narrative format of the soft reboot. For years there has been talk of the existence of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 in a remastered version, and this umpteenth leak seems to be in the final confirmation.
