WildStar was undoubtedly one of the best MMORPG developed and published by Carbine Studios and NCSOFT. The paid version of WildStar was released on June 3, 2014, but later it was shifted to free-to-play on September 29, 2015. Everything was good until NCSOFT had made an announcement of its sudden closure in September 2018.
Wildstar Private Server?
According to reports, MMORPG WildStar was officially shut down in 2018 and the reason behind its sudden closure was it was not being played by huge numbers. Ever since the game was closed, the fans of WildStar have been making all possible efforts to revive their favourite game.
According to Reddit, there are fans who are trying hard to run WildStar in their own private server. In order to be saved from Devs, they are likely to host the server in a country when dev would find difficult to sue them.
A Reddit user wrote, Don’t be afraid when you get a cease and desist order because it’s almost impossible for them to follow up on it.
Owing to the lack of access to the WildStar filed, the developement of the emulator is quite slow. However, the work looks promising. A few days back, a stable combat system was implemented, and now homeownership is available. If the development continues at this speed, the fans of WildStar will have the game ready by the end of 2020.
