Be it beating bosses or clearing shrines, there is always something to do in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Along with completing the main stories, you will also be able to do several side quests along the way. One such quest is the Mired in Muck quest. In this side mission, you are tasked with helping an NPC called Bazz who has found himself stuck in the mud. So, how can you rescue him? Get your answer in our guide on how to complete the Mired in Muck quest in Zelda TOTK.

The Mired in Muck quest in TOTK can be started after speaking with Bazz at the Upland Zorana Skyview Towers (2858, 0582, 0379) in Lanayru Great Spring. He will be found at the entrance of this Skyview Tower. However, Bazz will be covered in a sticky purple and brown sludge. And it will be your job to get him out of this sticky mess. And since there’s no water body nearby, solving this puzzle won’t be that straightforward.

How to Rescue Bazz & Complete the Mired in Muck Quest Zelda TOTK

To solve the Mired in Muck puzzle, all you need is a Splash Fruit which you can throw on the sludge and free Bazz. Luckily, you can find several Splash Fruits around the Upland Zorana Skyview Tower. Collect at least one or two of them and head back to Bazz. Now, to wash away the sludge that is covering Bazz, simply shoot a Splash Fruit at the muck with your arrow. All of the muck will be now cleared away and Bazz will be free. As a mark of gratitude, Bazz will reward you with a Zora Spear.

That’s all you need to know about how to complete the Mired in Muck quest in Zelda TOTK. For more guides like this, head to our Tears of the Kingdom section.
