Mike Ybarra Claims Next Generation Consoles Could Surpass PC
The bridge between consoles and PC is getting smaller day by day and the little details that are made available for the next generation console bring things into perspective.
Some industry veterans have compared the next-generation console to the desktop and this generational upgrades will see the difference get smaller and smaller since every major developer has their hands on the next-generation console dev kit they can develop games for the next generation consoles.
Former Microsoft executive, Mike Ybarra feels confident that the next-generation console might not only be comparable to the PC counterparts they could even surpass them.
Mike Ybarra is the former Microsoft executive now working for Blizzard Entertainment as an executive vice president and general manager, we still do not have many details about the consoles themselves.
But if you compare them to the PC, the consoles have always lagged and this revelation by Ybarra brings questions up about the consoles and what hardware will they have.
As of now, we know that the PlayStation 5 has an SSD which will greatly reduce the loading time of games but there is no official release date as of yet.
Xbox Series X is being released during the Holiday period of 2020 and the PlayStation 5 will be released around the same time.
