After endless months of rumors and anticipation, fans are finally getting their due with the Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater remake. The remastered MGS3 remake was announced by Konami in the recent 2023 PlayStation Showcase. While initially released in 2014 on PS2, the Snake Eater garnered universal acclaim from players around the world. MGS3 Snake Eater Remake Release Date
We can expect the MGS3 Snake Eater Remake to be released in the year 2024. The Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater was revealed by Konami in the most recent PlayStation Showcase. Since it was revealed in the PS showcase, many players thought it will be exclusive to PlayStation consoles. But as confirmed by Konami’s press release, you can expect the game to release on all the latest platforms. So, this confirms that MGS3 Snake Eater is set to release on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PS5.
As stated in their press release, Konami intends Snake Eater to be a faithful recreation of the OG game and story. This rendition will reveal the origin story of Snake, also known as the Big Boss. For those wondering about the triangle symbol in the game’s title, Konami confirmed that it’s a Delta. It was confirmed that this symbol was chosen as its meaning fits the concept of the remake project.
Alongside confirming Snake Eater’s release, Konami also revealed the rerelease of the first three MGS games. These three classic games will be released as a part of Metal Gear Solid Master Collection: Vol 1. And will include the first three games – Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid: Sons of Liberty, & Snake Eater on PS5.

Rather than showing the Big Boss directly, the trailer starts off showing the tiny ants intricately. As the trailer builds up, we see extensive creatures and the order of things around the wild. Eventually, a giant serpent appears with Snake watching him from a distance.
