How to Unlock Merlin Trials in Hogwarts Legacy
In order to unlock the Merlin Trials in Hogwarts Legacy, you need to complete the Trials of Merlin main quest. These mini-challenges will appear after you save Nora Treadwell in Lower Hogsfield from some Ashwinders. She is a historian who will introduce you to the Trials of Merlin and while doing so, will indirectly task you with 95 Merlin Trials throughout the World Map. You will need Mallowsweet leaves to activate each trial.
How to Solve Merlin Trials
As we mentioned, Merlin Trials will need heavy spell knowledge. Once you activate one of the trials by finding them on the map, the pillars nearby will activate. Now that you know the trials have begun, you will have to select the best suitable spell to solve it. While some will only need basic spells, others will need advanced magic that you learn. Hence, we recommend, you wait on the trials till you have learned almost every spell in the game.

Merlin Trials Rewards
