Joining a Faction in the Last Epoch has several benefits for your in-game character. Thanks to the release of version 1.0, there are two factions currently available to join which are the Circle of Fortune and the Merchant’s Guild. Those who have better trading skills should definitely opt for the Merchant’s Guild. This faction gives you access to the Bazaar, where you can sell and buy legendary items. Not only that, it also makes it possible to make trades with other players in the lobby.
If you want to join the Merchant’s Guild in Last Epoch and test your trading skills, then this is how you get started.
How to Join Merchant’s Guild in Last Epoch
To join the Merchant’s Guild faction, you must have to reach level 9 and be in the Divine Era. Then, you will have to speak to an NPC called Zerrick in the Maj’Elka Upper District. Zerrick will then introduce you to both the Factions and reveal their Base of Operations. To join a Faction, you must go to the respective Base of Operations and speak to the Faction Leader. So, to join the Merchant’s Guild in Last Epoch, you will have to go to the Bazaar. It is found on the eastern side of the Maj’Elka Upper District.
Note: You will visit Maj’Elka District once before reaching level 9. But at that time, the Factions feature won’t be available. So being in the Divine Era is an important requirement for joining a Faction.
Once you have entered the Bazaar, speak to Nama, the Faction Leader. Speaking to him will give you the option to join the Merchant’s Guild in Last Epoch.
Merchant’s Guild Rank Rewards in the Last Epoch
Similar to the Circle of Fortune, the Merchant’s Guild too has 10 Ranks in which you can advance. Each rank is associated with a certain reward that you can unlock. Here are all the Merchant’s Guild Faction Ranks and their respective rewards:
Faction Rank | Rewards |
---|---|
1. (Buy Basic Items) | You can sell all items, and buy Normal, Magic, and Rare items in the Bazaar or directly from other players. |
2. (Buy Set Items) | You can buy Set Items in the Bazaar or directly from other players. |
3. (Buy Specific Unique Items) | You can buy Unique Items with no Legendary Potential in the Bazaar or directly from other players. |

To advance in Faction Ranks and earn Rewards, you will have to complete quests or defeat enemies. In the same way, you can also earn a currency called Favor. It should be noted that you need Favors for buying and selling items. The amount of Favor needed for selling items at Bazaar or with a Player is much lower than buying them. So be sure to amass Favors in abundance rather than wasting them.
That’s all there is to know about the Merchant’s Guild faction in the Last Epoch. You can now go and get what you need or get rid of something that you already have. For more information like this, feel free to stick around and check out our other Last Epoch Guides.
