Marvel’s Avengers Gameplay Video Finally Revealed By Square Enix At Gamescom

After reveling the new Avengers games back in E3 2019, Square Enix left quite a few fans unsatisfied as the entire footage contained cutscenes and failed to show any bit of the gameplay. Well, now Square Enix just released an 18-minute gameplay video of Marvel’s Avengers at Gamescom 2019.

The gameplay video shows our favorite superheroes go against an unknown militia on the Avengers day and the battle continues over a bridge. You get to see Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, Back Widow, and Captain America in action.

The video starts off with a small monologue which quickly transitions into an action fuelled clip showing off our superheroes’ best powers. The first superhero we get to see in action is Thor as he plows through this unknown militia. We get to see Thor with his mighty Mjolnir as he bashes through obstacles and enemies alike.

Thor’s character design looks amazing and this God of Thunder brings all the sparkles to the combat. He is then joined by Iron Man who as in typical Iron Man fashion pulses everyone in sight. We also get to see the major pulse canon from the small arc reactor in the chest piece of the Iron Man suit.

Hulk is brought into action next as he is given the responsibility of clearing a path towards the pulse tanks as he smashes his way through everything in sight. Hulk looks powerful and this version of him looks a better representation of the strongest avenger.

We are taken back on the quinjet where Captain America battles some of the thugs, throwing his shield everywhere.

Later we get to see Black Widow in action as she goes up against Task Master, to be fair, Task Master does not look as good as he did in the Spider-Man game developed by Sony. There is a huge difference and justice is not done to his character.

There is nothing that wows or captures the attention apart from a small clip at the end of this video which I highly recommend you watch this and judge for yourself.

Marvel’s Avengers is scheduled to release on the 25th of May 2020 for PS4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC.
