Marvel’s Avengers will enter the beta phase in August 2020, in which players who have pre-order the title can initially participate on different platforms. In the meantime, the dates have been set and a new War Table live stream has been announced.
Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have revealed details of the Marvel’s Avengers beta schedule. On August 7, 2020, a pre-order beta will start, in which PlayStation 4 players can participate.
From August 14, 2020, players who have pre-orders on the PC and Xbox One will be able to dive into the test phase. The open PS4 beta is launched on the same day. The latter phase will follow on August 21, 2020, on the other platforms.
The beta dates for all platforms are mentioned below:
- August 7 – PS4 beta
- August 14 – beta access on Xbox One and PC
- August 14 – PS4 Open Beta starts
- August 21 – Start of the open beta on all platforms
The content of the beta of Marvel’s Avengers was also given. It includes campaign content, co-op missions, and hero progress. Other components include the War Zones and Drop Zones. According to creative director Shaun Escayg, you will be able to test most features from the full version.
In addition, another War Table livestream was announced for July 29, 2020, at 10:00 AM PDT. In the course of the show, further details on the upcoming beta of Marvel’s Avengers will be shared.
Marvel’s Avengers will release on September 4, 2020, for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. At a later date, the title will release on the next-gen consoles of Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.
