How do I Become Friends & Get Hearts with Marnie?
Befriending Marnie is important because you can get some awesome benefits like unlocking recipes at a certain number of hearts. To become friends with her, you need to do the following tasks.
Give Her Gifts she Loves and Likes!
Giving her gifts she “loves” will get you a whopping 80 Friendship points, while the “likes” will get you 45. Strictly avoid the gifts she dislikes because it will lower your friendship level with her.
Give Her a Movie Ticket
Players can earn up to 250 Friendship points if they invite her to a movie and she ends up liking it. She loves The Miracle at Coldstar Ranch which can get you 200 points but for other films, you can still get 100 points.

Stardew Valley Marnie Shop Open Hours
The shop (Marnie’s Ranch) is open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm almost every day (with the exception of Mondays, Tuesdays, Fall 18 and Winter 18). Note that the building is open from 9:00am to 6:00pm daily, even when the shop is closed.
Should you tell the town about Lewis and Marnie’s Secret Relationship?
- If you choose to not tell the town about the secret, Lewis will thank you. You also get +50 friendship with him.
