Updated Date :

Similar to every update, a plethora of new content has been added to the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1. This includes new season quests and different objectives for players to complete. One of these challenges includes marking 10 enemies in a single match. You can complete this challenge for a hefty reward of 16,000 XP. If you have a Battle Pass, this can help you out in progressing with it. But several new players are quite confused about placing a mark. Not to worry, check out our guide on how to mark enemies in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1.

How to Mark Enemies in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1

You can mark the enemies by placing the Marker button in Fortnite. You can do so by pressing the default keybind or control depending on your supported platforms. For PC players, hit the middle button on your mouse to place a marker on your enemies. While for consoles like PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch, players need to hit the left D-Pad button to mark. As soon as you hit the marker button, it will place a red marker above your pinged enemy.

Alternatively, you can also use the Falcon Scout drone to mark your enemies. As soon as the drone flies above, it will give you the locations of all enemies within that certain radius. The best part about it is that you can also get locations through walls or floors. You can also claim different Capture Points all over the map to mark your enemies. Once you claim the Capture point, the ping marker spreads out giving you enemy locations within the specific region.

Furthermore, to mark enemies, you can also mark different items, vehicles, containers, and more. While the current Season quest involves marking 10 enemies in a single match, you can get other challenges in the future. These include marking a particular wildlife, seasonal item, or NPC character. So, marking can also come in handy during such scenarios.

Aside from that, marking your enemies can be extremely crucial during solos. As you get a ping of the nearby enemy that you can eliminate or evade. It’s like having an upper hand over your opponents. Marking enemies can also be incredibly valuable with squads. That’s because your teammates also get the locations of the marked enemies.
