Genshin Impact: How To Lower Water Level In The Cave (Sumeru Update)

The world of Genshin Impact is filled with multiple quests and events that you will come across. While completing some of them progresses you further in the story, others help with the resources and item part. Both of which are important in your journey through the fantasy land of Teyvat. With the Sumeru update, players are now accustomed to new locations, new enemies, and new quests. The Sumeru region represents the Dendro Element and while exploring it, you will need to use Dendro for a lot of things. While in one of the quests of Genshin Impact, you will find yourself in a cave and will be tasked to lower the water level there. This guide is to help you do the same.

How to Lower Water Level in the Cave in Genshin Impact

The task is part of the Starry Night Chapter quest. When you lower the water level, you will be able to collect items as part of one of the quests. While it is not that difficult to complete, you will have some activities to do. Here’s how to Lower the water level in the cave in Genshin Impact:

  • You will locate a Seelie whilst in the depth of the cave and it will lead you to a Clusterleaf of Cultivation.
  • Apply Dendro on it to create a path with the Four-Leaf Sigil. It will lead you to another Clusterleaf of Cultivation. Applying Dendro will create a path for you to reach the first area with a broken Dendro monument.
  • When you apply Kusava power on it, the monument will be fixed and you can apply Dendro on it to lower the water level.
  • But that’s not it, you need to follow the Seelie to another broken monument and fix it in the same way. And then once you apply Dendro on it, you will lower the water level in the cave.
