There are certain conditions that need to be met to unlock Necromancer in Loop Hero. This special character will only be unlocked if you have built a crypt. As soon as you unlock it, he will be able to equip — 1 amulet book, 2 rings, and a shield. The most important stats that come with the Necromancer in Loop Hero are ‘Max Skeletons’ and ‘Summon Quality.’
For the unversed, Max Skeletons is an ability that can be used to summon a number of Skeletons whereas the Summon Quality is something that you can use to increase the chance of getting higher tier skeletons.

| Horde | 3 strengthened skeletons will combine with the hero in every loop. |
| Residual Heat | Obtain +3 loop HP after the death of each skeleton. |
| Unseen Care | Permanent +0.5 bonus energy armor for every skeleton. |
| Counterattack | Upon receiving a direct attack on the hero, there’s a 15% chance of the skeletons doing a counter. |
| Laying Down One’s Life | Upon receiving a direct attack will split up damage between him and the skeletons. |
| Lightning Fast | Increase 20% chance to do a 3-hit combo with each hit doing 50% damage. |
| Ambitions of the Dead | Skeletons will fully heal and will have a 10% increase in damage and HP after beating an enemy. |
| Omicron’s Technique | This gives a +1 resurrection charge. |
The build which Loop Hero players can try out right now is ‘Thick Necromancer’. To do this, you will have to look into building a forest in their base. Once established, the next thing you will need to do is build an Ancestral Crypt.
Once built, collect as many thickest as possible to boost the speed of summoning skeletons while using Laying down one’s life. Once you are done doing that, it is time to shift your focus on the skills of Field Practice, Unseen Care, Residual Heat, and Laying Down One’s Life.
While focusing on the Skeleton level, you will need to have four to five summon slots to divide the damage from Laying down one’s life. Notably, you can also do this by picking up the Art of Control trait.
