To find the elusive Wada Koretake, Yaya sends Naoe to find his chief executioner in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. His location isn’t too easy to find, so here’s a quick guide that shows where to find him and how to get there.
Where to Find the Executioner in AC Shadows
- Once you have tracked the mission on the Objectives tab, switch to the World map and find the Amagasaki location.
- If you’ve already discovered this location, zoom in until you see Nanatsumatsu which is to the west of Amagasaki and to the east of Nishinomiya Shrine/Shrine Town. This is where you can find the executioner but there will be some guards along the way.
- If you haven’t discovered it yet, you will see a transparent blue circle on the map when you’re close. Upon getting close, you’ll see the Discovery notification for Nanatsumatsu.
- Make your way to the prisoners by assassinating the guards along the way. However, be careful because if the main set of guards sees you, they will kill the prisoners they are holding. You can unlock the fast travel point at Amagasaki Castle to get a shorter route to this location in case you die in the fight.
- Whenever you’re ready, run towards the Executioner standing in the middle of the prisoners, and start attacking. The other guards will join the fight, so you’ll need to take them out simultaneously. You can also stealthily take down the other guards first, and clear the area so you can attack the Executioner who will be by himself.
- On the right side of the screen, a letter will be shown. After defeating the executioner, Naoe discovers a letter containing Wada Koretake’s location. A couple of clues are that he resides at Amagasaki Castle and he will be in the courtyard.
