While Silksong introduces a brand new kingdom, you’ll also encounter familiar sights and characters from Hallownest, adding a layer of nostalgia and intrigue for established fans. Players will be taking on the role of Hornet, the princess-protector of Hallownest and a formidable warrior in her own right. Her nimble acrobatics and deadly needle weapon offer a fresh gameplay experience compared to the Knight from the first game.

After the amazing game Hades, Supergiant Games is making a sequel called Hades II, which will be epic. We don’t know exactly when it comes out, but just knowing it’s happening is awesome.

Hades 2 is primarily a Greek mythology-based rogue-like dungeon crawler. This means you battle through ever-changing dungeons, facing waves of enemies and challenging bosses. Each run is unique, thanks to procedural generation and various weapon and ability combinations.

In Hades, you played Zagreus, the son of Hades who tried to escape the Underworld (a tough job!). This time, you’ll be Melinoë, Hades’s super cool daughter and sister of Zagreus. She’s got a big challenge: the Titan of Time called Chronos escaped his prison in the Underworld and started an all-out war against Mount Olympus from there. It’s up to Melinoë to stop him. Think epic battles and tricky puzzles, and explore super secret parts of the Underworld!

So, can we expect Hades 2 on Switch in 2024 or 2025? It’s too early to say for sure. Supergiant is a studio focused only on one game for its development cycle, and their priority right now is getting Hades 2 out on PC in early access to gather feedback and polish the game. But the original Hades was a huge success, and there’s a demand for it on Switch. Supergiant has a good relationship with Nintendo, having released their first two games, Bastion and Transistor, before Hades on Switch.

Supergiant polish promised top-notch visuals, gameplay, and story, even better than the original. They have a track record for excellent games. So, while you might have to wait a bit longer to play Hades 2 on your Switch, one thing’s for sure: if you enjoyed the original Hades, Hades 2 has the potential to be an even more thrilling and magical journey.
