Helldivers 2: How To Link PlayStation Network To Steam

Sony’s announcement to link PSN ID to Steam for Helldivers 2 may not have gone down well with players but sadly there is no option for them right now. If you are having some trouble linking your PlayStation Network to Steam, this guide has covered all the steps that you are looking for. Many players have yet to make a PlayStation Network account so they can link it for Helldivers 2.

Earlier, this was optional for PC players but from May 30th, it will be a mandatory thing that players cannot overlook. Fortunately, the whole process is quite simple and even if it sounds annoying, there are only a few steps involved.

How to Link PSN ID to Steam for Helldivers 2

First things first, players need to make a PlayStation Network Account if they don’t have one. Follow this link and select Create an Account from Sony’s Account Manager. After that, you need to follow the steps and you can create the account for free. Now that you have an account, you can easily link PSN ID to Steam for Helldivers 2.

To link PlayStation Network to Steam, load up Helldivers 2 from Steam and the game should display a QR code for you to scan and a link to a log-in page for the PlayStation Network. Once you head to the sign-in page, fill in the details necessary, and then you will link Helldivers 2 to your PlayStation Network account.

According to the developers, new Helldivers 2 players will have to connect their Steam Account to their PSN Account by May 6th. Along with that, current players on Steam will start to see the mandatory login from May 30th and will be required to have linked a Steam and PlayStation Network account by June 4th.
