When does Life Is Strange 4 come out? Is there even going to be a new Life is Strange game? The beloved game series took the world by storm back in 2015 with its unique premise and heartwrenching story. New entries, protagonists, and even a change in developers haven’t stopped fans from coming back to the world of Life Is Strange. But is there going to be a new Life is Strange game? Let’s look at all the information we could find.

Is There Going to Be a Life is Strange 4?

Life Is Strange 4
Currently, there is no confirmed release date for Life Is Strange 4. If rumors are to be believed, developer Deck Nine is currently working on developing a new sequel to the Life Is Strange series. This can be surmised thanks to the vacancy list of the studio posted last year. Deck Nine were in search of senior game designers to work on their untitled new single-player AAA title. Now that the original studio Don’t Nod has given up the rights to the series, Deck Nine have sole creative control over every new game.

There have also been leaks and rumors relating to the story of a supposed Life is Strange 4. If these are to be believed, the new game will feature the return of Max Caulfield, the first game’s protagonist. According to sources the game will follow Max, now all grown up and working as a professor at an art school. Her powers of manipulating time have grown. She can now travel to alternate realities and use her powers to solve mysteries. These rumors do have some basis in reality as the Life Is Strange comics expand on Max’s powers in the same way. While there are no confirmed reports of a new Life Is Stange game from either Deck Nine or Square Enix, similar rumors and leaks about Life Is Strange 3 were confirmed by the release of Life Is Strange: True Colors.
