Lego 2K Drive: How To Play Online Multiplayer & Split Screen Co-Op

Being an online racing coop game, many eager fans and players are looking to play Multiplayer in Lego 2K Drive. While you can race online against players across the world, you can join and invite your friends, too. But is there a Split Screen Coop in Lego 2K Drive? Yes, for classic retro racing, you can also play Split Screen Coop with your friends using the same console or PC. But how to play with your friends in an online or local multiplayer? How to Play Online Multiplayer in Lego 2K Drive

You can play online multiplayer in Lego 2K Drive by either selecting the “Play with Friends” or “Play with Everyone” option. Quite obviously, the first option will allow you to invite or join your added friends. Speaking of the latter option, allows you to join any player across the online multiplayer. Since Lego 2k Drive is cross-platform, you can have an online race with your friends that are playing on different platforms.

Unfortunately, Cross-play is not available on Nintendo Switch. Also, note that playing online multiplayer on consoles requires paid subscription like PS Plus or Xbox Game Pass.

How to Play Split Screen Coop in Lego 2K Drive

You can select the Local Play option from Main Menu to play Split Screen Coop. Instead of playing online, Local multiplayer allows playing it using the same console or PC. To play the Split Screen Coop, you will need two controllers while playing on the same console or PC. But for Nintendo Switch, two players can connect and link up using different systems on the same wireless connection.

So, here’s how you can play Split Screen Coop in Lego 2K Drive:

  • Firstly, connect the two controllers (or Switch consoles).
  • On your second controller, press the button assigned for “P2 Press button for Splitscreen“.
  • Here are the default buttons for split-screen on different platforms:
    • Nintendo Switch: Press the + button on the separate end of Joycon.
    • PlayStation: Press the Options button on your controller.
    • Xbox: Press the Start button on your controller.

After pressing the assigned default buttons, you will see the other player joining you for the Local Play race. Now all that remains is choosing an appropriate game mode to bring on the ultimate race.
