With version 3.4 of Genshin Impact, the game has brought a new Lantern Rite event for 2023. There are several challenges you can complete daily to collect Festive Fever points and unlock various rewards. But it does have an unlock criteria that you should know before starting. So here is what the Lantern Rite 2023 event is in Genshin Impacta and how you can get Festive Fever.
What is the Lantern Rite 2023 in Genshin Impact?
Lantern Rite 2023 is a musical festival held in Liyue in Genshin Impact, also known as The Exquisite Night Chimes. It is an event where friends get together and watch lanterns float into the sky. And during this celebration, there are 4 events that you can take part in to get different rewards for completing the Challenges. These events are:
- Paper Theatre
- Radiant Sparks
- Vigilance at Sea
- Behind the Scenes
While each of these events has its separate challenges and rewards, you can get the following items just for logging in daily.
- Day 1: Intertwined Fate x1
- Day 2: 80,000 Mora
- Day 3: Intertwined Fate x2
- Day 4: Mystic Enhancement Ore x18
- Day 5: Intertwined Fate x2
- Day 6: Hero’s Wit x8
- Day 7: Intertwined Fate x5
How to Unlock Exquisite Night Chimes
You need to complete the “The Fond Farewell” quest to be able to play the Lantern Rite. This is the 6th sub-quest of Chapter I: Act III – A New Star Approaches in Genshin Impact. Also, make sure your Adventure Rank is at least 28. If you meet both these criteria, here is how you can start playing this event:
- Open your Quests tab.
- Start tracking the quest “A Thousand Miles for an Enigmatic Tune”.
- Go to the Liyue Harbor and Find Zhongli.
- Complete his quest and you will unlock the above-mentioned events.
This event started on January 19th, 2023, and is going to end on 6th February 2023.
How to Get Festive Fever Points in Genshin Impact
After you unlock the 4 events, you can take part in its challenges to earn Festive Fever Points. These points are important for getting the different rewards of this event. These rewards unlock in 5 tiers, here are them all:
- 200 Festive Fever Points: Primogems x30 and Fireworks x2
- 400 Festive Fever Points: Primogems x30 and Fireworks x2
- 600 Festive Fever Points: Primogems x30 and Fireworks x2
- 800 Festive Fever Points: Primogems x30, Propitious Screen Furnishing x2, and a 4-Star Liyue character (player gets to choose)
- 1,000 Festive Fever Points: Primogems x30, Vase Furnishing Blueprint x1, Crown of Insight x1, and Lantern Furnishing Blueprint x1
