How to Obtain Koi in Grow a Garden
The Koi pet is associated with the Zen Channeller where you need to submit crops mutated with the Tranquil mutation to him. These crops can be obtained during the Zen aura weather event that happens every hour and lasts for 10 minutes. Here’s how you can complete the process:
- Grow the Zen Channeller’s Tree to Stage 4 by submitting Tranquil‑mutated crops.
- Once the tree reaches stage 4, the Koi appears in the Zen Shop, located near the Zen Channeller character.
- You can choose to purchase it using 45 Chi (Zen Event currency) or 449 Robux.
What Does the Koi Actually Do?
The Koi’s passive ability, Fish of Fortune, grants you a ~0.61% chance to recover the egg used for hatching each time you hatch a non‑Premium/Exotic egg. Instead of consuming the egg, it re‑appears at the same spot where you hatched it which allows you a second chance at the hatch result. Premium or Exotic eggs are not eligible for refunds but still, this is a great power if you have pets in your garden. Stacking Koi pets increases your overall refund probability.
