The Isle of Armor DLC has brought a lot of additions in Pokemon Sword and Shield; one of them being the ability to get Pokemon to follow you around in the overworld. There’s also the three challenges by Master Mustard that you have to complete to get a Secret Armor. But apart from that, you can also find Kingdra in Isle of Armor which is a much sought-after Pokemon. In this guide, we will explain how to get Kingdra in Isle of Armor.
Kingdra Location in Isle of Armor (Where to Find)
Here’s the location of Kingdra, the water/dragon type Pokemon that looks like a seahorse.
Visit the Honeycalm sea when there’s a thunderstorm happening. Look for three islands and right in between you might spot a Kingdra. You can make a thunderstorm happen by setting the date to July 15. This is the fastest way to get a Kingdra without trading. But if you spot a Seadra instead, here’s how to evolve it into a Kingdra.
You can find Seadra in the Honeycalm sea regardless of weather. Once you spot it somewhere around the three islands, go ahead and catch it. Now, you need to move to the next step of evolving a Seadra to Kingdra.
You will need a Dragon Scale for it. What you need to do is find one at a tiny island in the north eastern area of the Honeycalm Sea, near the location of Seadra. You will find a red Pokeball on that little island, take it and you will have the physical Dragon Scale.
In case you want to craft a Dragon scale, you can do it by putting four Dragon Fangs in the Cram-o-Matic machine. If you manage to find some golden stars on Honeycalm island, there’s a chance that it can have a Dragon Scale too.
How to Evolve Seadra to Kingdra
Once you find a Dragon Scale, make your Seadra hold it. And then you have to trade the Seadra with a friend either locally or through the internet. This will make the Seadra evolve into a Kingdra. That’s pretty much everything about Kingdra location and how to get this Pokemon. It is quite a powerful Pokemon having many interesting abilities like Swift Swim, Sniper and Damp.
