Should You Kill Katya Or Let Her Go In Cyberpunk 2077 Spy In The Jungle?

Published Date :

In one of the earliest major quests in Cyberpunk 2077’s Phantom Liberty, you will face an important decision – what to do with the captured agent Katya after discovering she impersonated and interrogated Bana. This pivotal choice in the Spy In The Jungle quest will shape how the story unfolds and have repercussions across Night City. So, should you kill Katya or let her go in Cyberpunk 2077 Spy In The Jungle?

Killing Katya

If you choose to kill Katya, you will pull out your weapon and take her life. Her body will be found to have an archived conversation, admitting she killed Bana under orders. With the biomonitor now in hand, you can continue reporting back to the agents in Night City. However, killing Katya means missing out on any potential information or rewards.

Freeing Katya

You can also spare Katya’s life. If you choose this option, she will provide coordinates to a hidden cache near Dogtown. Following the coordinates leads to a quest, Money for Nothing, where the cache can be located. In addition to 12,000 Eurodollars, it holds a rare face mod and a note detailing a possible job in Dogtown. Katya will also peacefully depart, leaving behind the crucial biomonitor.

Which is the Best Choice in Spy In The Jungle?

While both choices allow completion of the main objective, we recommend letting Katya go, as it opens up an additional quest for loot and potentially more storyline development. Players retain the biomonitor either way.

However, it is worth noting that the decision comes down to whether further intel is worth the risk of letting Katya live or if elimination is the safer route to wrap up the encounter.

That’s all about kill Katya or let her go in Cyberpunk 2077 Spy In The Jungle quest. If you found this guide helpful, check out our guides to find out How To Level Up Shinobi Quickly and explore more Cyberpunk 2077 Guides right here on Gamer Tweak.
