The Finals Kicked From Server Fix

Published Date :

Embark Studios’ The Finals has a solid shooter experience to offer its players. It not only gives you the standard multiplayer features of letting you play with your friends. But also gives you the ability to destroy or build the arena while the fight takes place. However, the real battle players are currently fighting and need a fix for is the kicked from server error.

When this happens even though you were able to find a match, you get kicked out of the game. This is kind of a common issue to come across in online games. So here are a few things you can do about it.

How to Fix Kicked From Server in The Finals

The reason you may be getting this is due to an overload of players on the server, so it should fix for good once the developers fix it on their end. While there isn’t much you can do about it, here are a few solutions that you can try:

  • Don’t use overlay apps: This solution comes from u/MrZeLlama on Reddit. According to their findings, players that have hudsight or any other program that overlays is the reason you get this error. So the best thing you can do about it is close such apps before starting the game and make sure it doesn’t open. You can also uninstall them if needed.
  • Try a new account: Since it is a free-to-play game, you can try making a new Steam account to test whether your account has been accidentally banned. If you aren’t kicked from your new account, go back and try playing from your account next. This time if you get kicked then you should contact the game’s developers to get help from them directly.
  • Disable your Anti-Virus: Another possible reason for you to get this error could be your Anti-Virus considering the game’s anti-cheat a malware and may be blocking it. So while you might be able to get into the game, it will kick you out. So you can either add the anti-cheat to your Anti-Virus’ whitelist or temporarily turn it off while playing the game.
  • Check Server Status: Another basic thing you can do is check whether the game’s servers are working. Go to their Twitter @reachthefinals to see if they are down due to an outage or if they are under maintenance. Wait for the servers to be back online and try playing again and you shouldn’t get the error this time.

These were some of the things you can try to fix the kicked from server error in The Finals. If you are interested in other topics of this game then be sure to check out our The Finals section for more!
