The Kamaitachi Boss is the boss of Kakeashi Grove in Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. If you’re trying to beat him for the first time or trying out the challenge of defeating him within 1:30 minutes, there are some tips and tricks you can follow to get the job done easily. Here’s a guide to help you and your villagers win over this flying enemy.
Preparing for the Kamaitachi Boss
First, collect the loot from Yoshiro. Then, either assign all 4 villagers to be archers or keep 2 archers and 2 woodcutters for the smaller enemies trying to get to Yoshiro. This is because you will be less-effective against the flying foe, however he does get down on the ground at some point which is when you can unleash your attacks.
Place the two archers on the opposite sides of the arena at a short height, and slightly away from where Yoshiro is standing. You can place the woodcutters in front of her so that they can take on the smaller enemies when they get too close to her.

The next thing you should do is upgrade your Archers – focus on upgrading them to rank 3. Their improved damage and higher health will be crucial in chipping away at Kamaitachi’s resist gauge.
Equip Tsuba Guards that offer strong offensive capabilities. Prioritize those that can help deplete the resistance gauge quickly. I used Suzaku’s Flame and it worked out!
How to Beat Kamaitachi Boss in Kunitsu-Gami Path of the Goddess
As the fight starts, unleash jumping Dance Attacks with Soh along with arrow attacks from your archers. This might stun Kamaitachi, creating an opportunity to get in close and use your Tsuba Guard. During this time, you can also summon your villagers to attack the boss with you to drain the boss’ health even faster while he’s stunned.
Stun the Boss
Mastering parries is crucial. Watch for Kamaitachi’s slashing attack and parry it with your Guard right before impact with perfect timing. A successful parry will stun Kamaitachi momentarily, allowing you to unleash a combo.
Use Suzaku’s Flame to deplete its resistance gauge further. Follow up with Dance attacks and any other attack you have that deals significant damage. You will have to do this multiple times throughout the fight.
Kite Kamaitachi Away from Yoshiro
Make sure to dodge attacks from a distance and keep moving away from Yoshiro, otherwise she will face damage from his attacks and they will take off a chunk of your health too. You can use the Defense option to ensure that the villagers stop attacking on the boss and move to protecting Yoshiro if enemies get too close.
Kamaitachi will return to the air after a while. Repeat the strategy of using jumping Dance Attacks and parrying to bring it down again.
During the fight, Kamaitachi might summon regular Seethe. If you have assigned Woodcutters, then place them in a way that they deal with the minions themselves.
In a nutshell, depleting Kamaitachi’s resist gauge is key to opening it up for heavy damage. Coordinate attacks with your archers and woodcutters to bring it down quickly.
Use the Spinning Top talisman that slightly increases Yoshiro’s max health and Demon Seat which does the same for the villagers.
