WoW ‘Join As A Group Failed’ Error Fix Available?

A recent queuing error has restricted the players from entering matches in Shado-Pan Showdown PvP Brawl Event. It displays ‘Join as a Group Failed’ for those who are trying to queue in this PvP Event of World of Warcraft. ‘Join as a Group Failed’ Error in World of Warcraft (WoW) – Is there a Fix?

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do to fix this error in World of Warcraft. This issue has been in the lights for years now, but sadly, Blizzard did nothing to get it fixed. Various Reddit Posts show players complaining about this ‘Join as a Group Failed’ error. According to a Reddit post by u/Extinguish89, this error popped out even when he tried to queue Solo in Shado-Pan Showdown PvP Brawl.

'Joined As A Group Failed' Error In World Of Warcraft

Please keep in mind that this PvP Brawl event is a scheduled event available to play on specific weeks. Following are the dates on which this event is playable:

  • January 10–17
  • April 4–11
  • June 27–July 4
  • September 19–26
  • December 12–19

Here’s when the servers will be pulled back for maintenance:

  • USA – Tuesday (7:00 to 8:00 PST)
  • Europe – Wednesday (3:00 to 4:00)

There is a possibility that those who have been trying to log in during the maintenance period might have to face the ‘Join as a Group Failed’ error in World of Warcraft.

There is no official statement made by Blizzard regarding this error. However, you can head over to the Blizzard Forum page and write about it to them. Hence, as of now, all you can do is wait for a patch update fixing the ‘Join as a Group Failed’ error in World of Warcraft. This is because fixes like disabling addons, rebooting the game, checking for updates, etc won’t solve this error.
