In Zelda, puzzles are usually found inside the Shrines. However, Rauru’s Blessing Shrines are different as you have to complete the puzzle outside the Shrine to unlock the entrance. The Jochi-ihiga is one such Shrine wherein you need to carry the green crystal to the interactive point. Doing so will unlock the Shrine entrance and eventually your Light of Blessing. But reaching and completing it is a struggle in itself, and for new players, it can get tricky as well. So, here’s how you can reach & solve the Jochi-ihiga Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK).
How to Reach Jochi-ihiga Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom (Location)
The Jochi-ihiga Shrine puzzle starts at the Hudson Construction Site in Akkala Highlands. The coordinates for this place are (3789, 1625, 0089). Before reaching this location, you must head to the Tarry Town in Akkala region. Once you have reached Tarry Town, go to the coordinates (3929, 1606, 0128). Upon reaching this area, you must talk to an NPC who is trying to sell you a Green Crystal.
This is the exact crystal that you need to make the Shrine entrance appear. Interacting and taking the Green Crystal from that NPC will start the Jochi-ihiga Shrine puzzle known as the ‘Rock for Sale’ challenge. Now that you have activated the Jochi-Ihiga puzzle, here’s how you can solve it in Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK).
Note – You can bargain with the NPC to lower the price of the crystal until a lady reaches out to help you out with it. Thankfully, you can purchase the crystal for 50 Rupees instead of 100 with her help.
How to Complete Jochi-ihiga Shrine in Zelda TOTK
After obtaining the crystal from the NPC, you need to carry it using the Ultrahand. Next, use the Rail near you to take the crystal down to the Hudson Construction Site. Once you reach there, you need to build a boat. This is because the Jochi-ihiga Shrine is found on a small land in the middle of a lake in Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK). If you look around, you will find boards and fans to build a boat.
On the Rail Platform, you can find a Zonai Battery that will act as a battery for your vehicle. Attach it on the boat along with the crystal to sail across without exhausting your Zonai Fan. Now, you need to follow the green light because it comes from the Jochi-ihiga Shrine location.
At last, when you reach the source of the light, simply grab and place the crystal near it. This will trigger a cutscene where the entrance to the Jochi-ihiga Shrine will be unlocked for you in Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK).
Simply go inside the Jochi-ihiga Shrine and collect your Light of Blessing. In addition, you will also find a Treasure Chest containing a Diamond in it. Not only you will get all these rewards but will also unlock the Jochi-ihiga Shrine as a Fast Travel Point on your Purah Pad.
