Super4 is the brain child of Mr. Rohit Bansal. The journey of Super4 inception goes a long way back when Mr. Rohit Bansal was pursing a Masters in Marketing from University of London. As a passionate cricketer, he used play county division D From Peugeot Coventry in London. Post his Masters from London, he wanted to sync his passion for cricket & his skills in Entrepreneurship together and this was the inception of Super4. With a vast experience of over 15 years and plenty of passion for sports specifically cricket, Super4 was in launched in 2022. Disrupting the existing fantasy sports market, Super4 is tapping to the unlimited potential the fantasy sports gaming segment in India.
The Super4 app allows cricket fans and enthusiasts across India to create teams prior to the start of a match but unlike other promising apps, Super4 provides fans with India’s first-ever Cricket scorecard empowering fans to create fantasy scoreboards in the first innings after a progressive self-study of the pitch and the match conditions. The users can collect maximum points from the first innings to increase their numbers on the leaderboard and win prizes. Besides, the Super4 application allows fans and enthusiasts to play various games like Tambola, Quiz, etc while the match takes place to make the whole fantasy experience more interesting and engaging.
Current partnerships and associations
Super4 since its inception has been a revenue-generating model, the brand launched itself with a Seed funding of 10 Crore from Angle Investors and this seed investment was just a start to the business. The brand launched themselves in the market by making ‘India’s leg break bowler’ Ravi Bishnoi as their brand face. The journey followed with Super4 being the Principal Partners for Manipal Tigers in the promising Legends League.
As of now, the brand is growing in terms of User base. They have recently crossed the mark of half a million userbase. Since the inception of the brand in March 2022, it is growing manifold. The revenue model purely depends on the number of downloads and visibility of the brand in the gaming sector and their target audience.
What will be the industry trends in 2023
The enormous growth of the online gaming industry in recent times has given a fascinating insight into the ever-evolving consumer behavior. Spurred by favorable conditions existing today like the high adoption rate of smartphones, digital payments, easy access of technology and internet and availability of skilled manpower, have further encouraged new age entrepreneurs to build unique digital first products. Our next objective is to increase our user base by 5x till the end of 2023 through upcoming partnerships, features, and some amazing marketing campaigns and signups existing youth icons to help position the brand better. Further to this our next step is to raise series A funding and expand operations and penetrate further into the gaming sector in India
