A completionist’s nightmare is here in Hogwarts Legacy with the Infamous Foes bug and players need a fix. The reason you might want to defeat them all is to complete all side quests. There is no official fix to this issue as of now. The only thing you can do to solve it is go around and look for any infamous foes that you might have missed. If you know you beat them all, then you will have to check back at their locations and kill them again. A possibility is that the game might have glitched and not registered the kill.

Another thing you can do is complete all side quests. There is a chance that the foe you eliminated is actually someone else. But a similar one appears during a side quest and killing them is what will count for killing all infamous foes. And of course, you should complete the main story as well.

The most common infamous foe to miss is The Riparian Troll. You can find it inside the Dale Family Tomb. Its entrance is blocked by Devil’s Snare vines.

Aside from that, the only other thing you can do is vote for this error on their website. User edwards438 has created a bug report for this issue and you can find it on the official bug report page. The more people vote for it, the faster the developers should release a fix for this bug. While this bug is already being investigated, a big number of votes will help suggest that this isn’t a random bug that only a few players are facing.

Once some patch is out, update your game and you should not get this error anymore.

That covers this guide on how to Fix the Defeat 12 Infamous Foes bug in Hogwarts Legacy. If you found this guide useful and are looking for more help on this game, then be sure to check out our Hogwarts Legacy Wiki.
