How to Find Ice Heart in Disney Dreamlight Valley
In order to get to the point in Merlin’s quest line where you are required to get the Ice Heart, you first need to complete the first part of it which involves collecting 5x Purified Night Crystals. Upon completing that part, Merlin will provide you with Ice Tear Seeds and task you to collect Falling Water, Mushrooms and Ice Heart.
Now, the former two are relatively very easy to obtain. All you need to do is head to the Glade of Trust region and you should find both of these resources there. However, getting the Ice Heart is slightly tricky. In order to get it you first need to have the Frosted Heights area unlocked which costs 10,000 Dreamlight. Once you have it unlocked follow the steps below:
- Go to the Frosted Heights along with the Ice Tear Seeds provided to you by Merlin
- Now you need to either dig into the ground or find an empty farm land
- Next up, you need to plant the seeds into the ground. This will spawn a small Ice Tear sapling.
- Water this plant with your Royal Watering Can Tool and wait for a brief moment while it grows into its full size.
- Once fully grown, you can harvest this plant and you will get the Ice Heart in your inventory.
You have now obtained the Ice Heart resource and can head back to Merlin to complete the quest sequence. When completed, Merlin will offer to upgrade your Watering Can which will then be able to clear the big Mystical Mushrooms blocking certain areas in the Glade of Trust which will then be accessible to you. You also receive a Wizard Hat on completing this quest for Merlin.
