After escaping with Zelda at the beginning of the Road to the Ancient Lab mission, your next task will be to activate two unearthed guardians. You will find the first guardian near the south waypoint. Head to the waypoint and then go a little upwards on the map to find an Electric Wizzrobe. Fight the Electric Wizzrobe to capture the grassy area and get the Lightning Rod. From here, you can easily find the unearthed guardian and activate it.
The second guardian is to the upper-left corner of the map. The green arrows on the map will guide you to the location. Simply follow the arrows to reach higher portions on the outpost.
