Hyperice Hypersphere mini & Hypervolt Go Review: Less Stiffness More Gaming

Updated Date :

Gaming is one hobby that stands synonymously with words like “play” and “social interaction”, but at the same time, gaming can be quite taxing for your mind and body as well. And you know what they say right? If your body is relaxed, so will be your mind. With that in mind, allow me to tell you about a product that can keep your body calm, keep your muscles relaxed, and help with your posture while elevating your gaming sessions at the same time! Let’s discuss Hyperice and more specifically their products Hypervolt Go and Hypersphere Mini.

For starters, Hyperice is known for collaborating with world-class athletes to bring the best line-up of products that bring a feeling of comfort and help with relaxing your body after an intense workout or a game. Their quality is of the top-shelf variety with next to no compromises made and their products speak volumes. That has been the sports part, but did you know their products are also a bang for their buck for us gamers? Surprising! Right? Let’s take a look and understand how shall we?

First Impressions

Right off the bat, both the Hypervolt Go and the Hypersphere Mini come in an elegant packaging that is minimalist to the point that it can put a smile on your face. The clean cutouts for products, the instruction manuals that are rich in detail and sit confidently in their packed shell, and the same can be said for the power supply and cords which comfortably lie in their packaging. As for the products themselves, it’s visible immediately how much love and care Hyperice has put into creating them as the quality of the products themselves is some of the best in the business.

The way they feel in your hand to how light in weight they are and how comfortable and easy they are to use. The packaging and the product, at first glance, are quite eye-catching and will pique your interest immediately. It doesn’t stop there, however, as there is also the Hyperice app that you can download(the QR code for which is visible on the side of the box), which comes with a clean interface, a well-crafted user experience, and based on your interests, curated courses and ways designed to help you get the most out of your devices. Right out of the box, these products impress.

Lasting Impressions

Now look, designed for athletes and people in sports this product maybe, but I am here to talk about its advantages and benefits for us gamers, and let me tell you something, there are a lot! Let’s begin with a personal journey, I was about ready to go hit the gym when my friend messaged me and asked me to join him and a few buddies in a Destiny 2 Raidathon. Given I had some time to burn I joined them and the next thing I know, 7 hours passed, and my dreams of going to the gym were a distant memory. Sitting in front of the television for 7 hours straight naturally put a dent in my back and that’s when it dawned on me that I could use the Hypervolt Go.

I pulled it out of the box and started using it and in less than 10 minutes my back felt like it got a message from a professional masseuse. That quickly and that easily I went from having a bad back to feeling like there are no issues at all. Then came the Hypersphere Mini, which was quick enough to take care of my fingers and my wrists in no time. I went from feeling like getting a good stretch into feeling as fresh and as crisp as I can be, all in a span of 15 minutes. Ain’t that something? Because of my experience, I started thinking that how much these products can help speedrunners, live-streamers, and people who are in the competitive scene. Having a stiff neck or having twitchy fingers can put a damper on their long gaming sessions which in turn can ruin their and the experience of their viewers.

A speedrunner needs to be precise with his inputs and the quick handheld massage that Hypersphere Mini provides can help them set a new record. On the contrary, when a live streamer is done with their hours-long stream, a quick percussion massage session with the Hypervolt Go can make their tired back feel alive again! And if you really wanna Macgyver this, you can attach the device to the back of your already comfortable gaming chair and have your own, homemade massage chair. Take your game to the clouds I say. And these have only been 2 devices that help with elevating your gaming session, the ceiling of comfort with these bad boys is up in space I tell you. And yes, it will benefit live streamers and speedrunners a lot but that doesn’t mean it won’t help us normal gamers. I ain’t a live streamer or a speedrunner and in less than a day I fell in love with these products and can confidently say that they are an important part of my gaming arsenal from now on.

Verdict

As you can probably guess, the Hyperice products left me quite impressed. While they are not truly essential accessories for gaming, they sure do help a lot when we need them the most. They serve you for a long time in a single quick charge. For what they do and what they are designed for, they come at nominal prices and they are light, comfortable, and easy to use. Whether it’s your shoulders, wrists, fingers, back, thighs or your glutes, one quick massage session with these devices post your gaming session will take you to the skies in no time. And with the amount of comfort these things shower you with, it’s a safe bet that your body posture and alignment also stay on point which is a win-win for you.

Hypervolt Go and Hypersphere Mini left a mark on me relatively quickly and have changed my gaming life and made it better than ever. I’d highly recommend my fellow gamers to go check these products out and experience the magic for themselves.
