HuniePop 2: Double Date is arguably one of the most highly anticipated adult games of 2020. Developed and Published by HuniePot, the sequel to HuniePop will have many new features including allowing players’ to engage in dates with two women simultaneously.

The sequel to HuniePop was supposed to out in 2019 but it got delayed as the health condition of the developed deteriorated. Developer Ryan Koons is reportedly dealing with some longtime issues cropping back up, and that means that the game would not release at anytime soon.

What HuniePop 2 is all about?
HuniePop 2 is sequel to popular game HuniePop released in 2016. HuniePop is a game that melds visual novels, dating sims, and match-3 game-play into a strangely-addicting game filled with anime tiddies and lewd humor.
If anything to go by HuniePop 2 trailer, the upcoming game will introduce double dates along with a bunch of new features. Players will be allowed to switch between the two women they take out on the date, filling their affection meters by completing multiple puzzles.
The game will also have a new stamina meter, when it runs out, players will have to switch to the other date. As of now, there have been 13 women confirmed for the sequel, and some of the characters will need to be unlocked by meeting specific requirements.

Why Was HuniePop 2 Delayed?
Taking to the micro blogging site, Ryan Koons had shared a message explaining the actual reason behind HuniePop 2’s delay.
“Hey guys,” the statement began. “Unfortunately, it seems I have once again developed a serious health condition (akin to my mid-2017 health issues, if you’ve been following that long) that will delay HP2, an already very delayed game, more.”
“I sincerely apologize,” he continued. “I don’t know how long it will take me to fully recover, but I must prioritize my health for however long the healing process may take.”
While the HuniePop 2 release being pushed back is certainly depressing news for many, Koons remains confident that the game will be out soon.
“[Huniepop 2] (as you can see from the gameplay trailer) is mostly done, it will come out, and it will be epic,” he concluded.
